Classic Steak with Blue Cheese Chive Butter
- 4 steaks (6-ounces each)
- 1 ¼ cup KC Masterpiece® Classic Steakhouse Marinade, divided
- ½ cup blue cheese, crumbled
- ½ stick butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons chives, minced
Combine steaks and 1 cup marinade. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Combine blue cheese in a bowl with butter and chives. Stir to combine. Set aside. Heat grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat, if pan frying add 2 tablespoons butter mixture to pan. Sear steaks. Discard used marinade. Cook to desired doneness (about 4-7 minutes per side for medium). Rest for 5 minutes. Spread each steak with 1 tablespoon marinade and a dollop of blue cheese chive butter before serving.
