Slow Cooker Pineapple BBQ Pork

Ingredients
- 1 bottle KC Masterpiece® Fiery Habanero Honey Barbecue Sauce®
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 4-5 lbs. pork (shoulder, roast or tenderloin will work)
- 4-5 hamburger buns
Prep
- Pour half the bottle of KC Masterpiece® sauce and the can of crushed pineapple into the Slow cooker.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the garlic powder, salt, pepper and brown sugar. Rub mixture over the pork and then place the meat in the Slow cooker. Turn meat until evenly coated with the sauce.
Cook
- Cook on low for 8-9 hours or high for 6-7 hours. Make sure meat reaches an internal temperature of at least 145ºF. When the pork is done, use 2 forks to shred the meat and let it cook for another 30 minutes.
- Scoop the meat onto a bun and serve immediately.
