Slow Cooker Hot Wings & Bleu Cheese Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
Hot Wings :
- 2 lbs. chicken wings
- 1 tbs. salt
- 1 tbs. garlic powder
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 cup KC Masterpiece® Fiery Habanero Honey Barbecue Sauce®
Bleu Cheese Sauce :
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup bleu cheese crumbles
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Prep
- Place the wings in a large mixing bowl with the salt and garlic powder and melted butter and KC Masterpiece® sauce. Toss until evenly coated and then place in the slow cooker.
Cook
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until tender and cooked through. Make sure the meat reaches an internal temperature of at least 165ºF has been reached.
- For the bleu cheese sauce: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayo, bleu cheese crumbles and salt.
- When the chicken is ready, place on a foil-lined cookie sheet and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, until the wings are a little crispy and slightly charred.
- Serve warm with bleu cheese sauce on the side for dipping.
