Kicked Up BBQ Sauced Pulled Pork

Ingredients
Kicked Up BBQ Sauce:
- 3/4 cup Dr Pepper
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp stone ground mustard
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 packet KC Masterpiece® Original BBQ Sauce Mix & Dry Rub
Kicked Up BBQ Sauced Pulled Pork Sandwiches:
- 2 batches Kicked Up BBQ Sauce
- 7 lbs pork shoulder roast
- Any prepared BBQ dry rub
- Rolls
Kicked Up BBQ Sauce
- Mix well and let sauce rest for at least 15 minutes to thicken.
Kicked Up BBQ Sauced Pulled Pork Sandwiches
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Apply BBQ rub seasoning to pork shoulder roast. Place pork shoulder in roasting pan and put in the oven.
- After about 5 hours cover roasting pan with foil and cook until the pork is fork tender (about 6–7 hours total).
- Remove roast from oven and let rest for about 15 minutes.
- Using two large forks pull the pork until finely shredded and generously mix with Kicked Up BBQ Sauce.
- Serve on fresh rolls.
