Ingredients

Kicked Up BBQ Sauce:

  • 2 batches Kicked Up BBQ Sauce
  • 7 lbs pork shoulder roast
  • Any prepared BBQ dry rub
  • Rolls

Kicked Up BBQ Sauce

  1. Mix well and let sauce rest for at least 15 minutes to thicken.

Kicked Up BBQ Sauced Pulled Pork Sandwiches

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Apply BBQ rub seasoning to pork shoulder roast. Place pork shoulder in roasting pan and put in the oven.
  3. After about 5 hours cover roasting pan with foil and cook until the pork is fork tender (about 6–7 hours total).
  4. Remove roast from oven and let rest for about 15 minutes.
  5. Using two large forks pull the pork until finely shredded and generously mix with Kicked Up BBQ Sauce.
  6. Serve on fresh rolls.
